--Regza Cloud Service "TimeOn"'s new service "Earn T Points!"--
Toshiba Lifestyle Products Corporation (hereinafter "Toshiba Lifestyle Products") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "T Point Japan") have collaborated to launch a new service for the REGZA LCD television, "Let's Save T Points!", on June 10, 2014. This will be the first in the industry to allow customers to earn T Points*2 by using the television's cloud service.
This service allows users of REGZA devices (Note 3) that are compatible with the REGZA cloud service "TimeOn" to easily accumulate T Points by registering their T Member number through "TimeOn" and using the "Earn T Points!" service. You can earn T Points by participating in a variety of campaigns, such as watching a program that ranks highly in the TimeOn reservation rankings (Note 4) and participating in a variety of campaigns that are held from time to time, in order to win T Points. Shopping, and Nissen, at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen.
Toshiba Lifestyle and T Point Japan will provide a service that allows users of 48.78 million people across Japan to easily and enjoyably accumulate T Points, which are used daily by 48.78 million customers across Japan*8, while enjoying their digital lives on high-definition LCD televisions, creating new opportunities for users of both companies to enjoy video content and proposing a more convenient and beneficial lifestyle.
Note 1: This is the first service in Japan that allows users to earn T-Points by using network services related to watching video content on television. (As of June 10, 2014)
Note 2: T-Point is a points service operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. and managed by the company and its subsidiary, T-Point Japan.

You can easily earn T Points by completing the T Points redemption procedure through "TimeOn" and participating in various campaigns such as surveys and lotteries that are conducted from time to time within the "Save T Points!" service. The number of points earned varies depending on the campaign.

1. "Earn T Points!!" Campaign Note 9, 10
This is a campaign where you can earn up to 1,000 points when you register for the "Save T Points!" service. You can use your smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code displayed on the TimeOn "Save T Points!" service application page, and access the T Site (Note 11) to complete the T Points application process. In this campaign, everyone will receive 200 points from Toshiba Lifestyle, and an additional 800 points will be awarded by lottery from Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Culture Convenience Club").
2. "Watch TimeOn's recommended programs and earn points!!" Campaign
If you watch a program that is ranked high in the TimeOn reservation rankings (Note 4), you will be entered into a weekly lottery to win T Points.
3. "Use REGZA and save!!" Campaign Note 12
This is a campaign where you can earn T points by using the functions of "REGZA."You can earn T points by connecting a separately sold USB hard disk Note 5 to your REGZA.
4. "Watch video commercials and earn points!!" Campaign
You can earn T-Points by watching the video commercials (Note 6) that play on the "TimeOn" screen and answering the survey.

"TimeOn" service overview
"TimeOn," provided by Toshiba Lifestyle, is based on the concept of "creating a world where people can encounter content and connect with each other through video content," and offers a number of services, including a system that recommends scene information within a program to friends. The "Time Shift Machine" function (Note 13) allows users to search for their favorite scenes from temporarily stored programs, and "Highlight Scene Playback" (Note 14) allows users to play scenes that are trending online. The "Interesting! Scene List" (Note 14) displays a table of contents-like scene list while playing a recorded program, allowing users to jump to the scene they want to see in the program. The service also offers a "Television Recording" service (Note 14) that allows users to create social networking sites based on TV programs, and automatically schedules recording of related programs by simply selecting keywords of interest.
Note 9: To participate in the lottery for points awarded by Culture Convenience Club, new registration for the "Save T Points!" service is required. The lottery will be held in the month of registration, and winners will receive 800 points (approximately 1 for every 100 units).
Note 10: This campaign is scheduled to run until late April 2015. Please note that the event may end without notice.

・To earn T Points with "TimeOn", you must complete the T Point usage procedure.
・You cannot cancel the T Point usage procedure on "TimeOn" without canceling your T Member Online Service registration.
・Please note that if you cancel your T Member Online Service registration, your T Point usage procedures on all affiliated sites will be canceled.
- Points may take some time to be awarded depending on system conditions.
・Points cannot be earned unless the T Member number is valid.
・You can use one T Member number to redeem T Points for up to three REGZA LCD TVs.
・Points can only be earned once per campaign per REGZA LCD TV.
[Notes regarding the TimeOn service]
・When using the cloud service provided by our company, information such as the operation information of the TV you are using (channel switching, recording reservations, search history, etc.) as well as the prefecture and gender of the registered user will be recorded on an internet server in order to compile reservation rankings and display information on information terminals. In addition to providing cloud services, this information may be used as statistical information for marketing purposes and may be provided to third parties within the scope of these purposes. This information will not identify individual users.
・For more details about the cloud service, please check the "Cloud Menu" after the cloud service starts.
- If you choose not to use the cloud service, all operation information about your TV that has been collected by the server up to that point will be deleted from the server. If you are not connected to the network, your data will be deleted from the server the next time you connect to the network.
・The cloud services provided by our company may be suspended, terminated, or have their contents changed without notice.
・To use this service, you will need to sign a contract with an Internet provider or line operator and pay a separate usage fee.
