"Tsutata Rock Special Live" final artists announced! Avengers in Sci-Fi, Balls

Culture Convenience Club TSUTAYA Company, which operates "TSUTAYA" stores nationwide that sell music CDs, will be holding a "Tsutaya Rock Special Live" simultaneously at two venues, TSUTAYA O-WEST and O-nest (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on September 2nd.

Following on from the music event "Tsutata Rock Festival 2014" held on April 1st, the artists confirmed to perform at this special live event at Tsutata Rock are "avengers in sci-fi," who will use numerous effects to take the floor by storm with their unique futuristic rock sound, and "Balls," who will captivate many with their euphoric songs that draw on a wide range of pop music from all over the world, past and present.

KEYTALK, Kuuso Iinkai, and Tesla, who have been announced so far, will not cry. In addition to The Flickers, the newly announced Avengers in Sci-Fi and Balls will be the six acts performing at the "Tsutata Rock Special Live."

What is Tsutara Rock?

TSUTAYA's CD and DVD sales brand, TSUTAYA RECORDS, is running a rock 'n' roll campaign where if you purchase a CD by a participating artist, you'll be entered into a lottery to win original live performances, signed merchandise, and more.
Past Tsuta Rock Live performances have featured a diverse lineup of artists ranging from newcomers to established names, including [Alexandros] (ex-[Champagne]), Alkal, KEYTALK, Kinoko Teikoku, GOOD4NOTHING, CreepHyp, SAKANAMON, Sambomaster, Czecho No Republic, Soredemo Sekai ga Tsuzuku Nara, TOTALFAT, Dragon Ash, tricot, Namba Akihiro, THE BACK HORN, The Birthday, back number, HUSKING BEE, Hello Sleepwalkers, Fujimaki Ryota, THE BAWDIES, My First Story, MAN WITH A MISSION, The Mirraz, and Yatsui Ichiro (DJ). On April 1st, the "Tsutaya Rock Festival" was held simultaneously at four venues: TSUTAYA O-EAST/O-WEST/O-nest/O-Crest.

About TSUTAYA

Of the approximately 1,450 TSUTAYA stores nationwide, approximately half carry the CD and DVD sales brand "TSUTAYA RECORDS."Since last year, we have launched "Tsutawa Rock," "T-GROOOVE," and "Wear The Music" as an initiative to propose new "music experiences" that combine live performances with CD purchases and rentals.
