SoftBank Mobile Corp. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayoshi Son; hereinafter "SoftBank Mobile") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "T Point Japan") today announced the launch of the T Point service on SoftBank Mobile, a first for a mobile phone carrier. To commemorate this, the SoftBank T-Point Start Campaign will run from July 1st to 31st, 2014, with a total of 10,000 people being given the chance to win up to 10,000 T-Points. In addition, SoftBank's original "T Card" designed by the father of the Shirato family will be issued free of charge at SoftBank shops.

With SoftBank Mobile's T Point service, you can earn 5 T Points for every 1,000 yen (excluding tax) of monthly mobile phone charges. The accumulated points, as well as the maximum 10,000 T Points that can be won in this campaign, can be used towards monthly charges, SoftBank mobile phone purchases, and other purposes, as well as at approximately 163,113 T Point partner stores nationwide (as of the end of May 2014), including TSUTAYA, ENEOS, FamilyMart, Three F, Gusto, Welcia, Yahoo! Shopping, and Nissen, with 1 point equaling 1 yen.

SoftBank Mobile and T Point Japan will continue to strive to improve their services to meet the expanding needs for points usage in various areas, with the aim of proposing happy and prosperous lifestyles to customers of all ages across Japan.
