T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will be issuing the first social contribution T Card at TSUTAYA stores nationwide from July 18, 2014. This card will allow customers to donate accumulated T Points to projects supporting areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, in order to support the disaster-stricken areas that are still in need of support even now, more than three years after the earthquake. This T-Card is a "Pokemon-designed T-Card" with Pikachu designed on the front of the card.

T-Point Japan has been working since 2011 on a project to support areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, "Present your T-Card to bring smiles to the faces of children in the affected areas."" supports children and community spaces in the disaster-stricken areas. The Pokémon-designed social contribution T-Card is a new initiative that was launched as a result of the alignment between Pokémon's disaster relief efforts, "POKEMON with YOU," and T-Point Japan's commitment to supporting disaster-stricken areas.

If you have this T-Card, part of the card issuance fee and half of the T-Points you earn by using the card will be used to help fund the construction of an indoor park where you can play with Pokémon, which is planned to be built in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture. This activity, known as the "Everyone's Playground Project," will be undertaken in collaboration with T-Point Japan Co., Ltd., Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., TSUTAYA Company, Yahoo Japan Corporation, architect Toyo Ito, and Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, along with Pokémon's disaster relief efforts, "POKEMON with YOU."

T Point Japan is collaborating with Pokémon, which is hugely popular among children, to provide an opportunity for many people to continue to take an interest in the disaster-stricken areas and to help support them. With the aim of making T Points "a point for people, connecting people and society," we will continue to work on support projects for the Great East Japan Earthquake that connect the T Point Alliance network with the network of 48.78 million customers who use T Cards every day.

■Card issuance fee: 500 yen (excluding tax)
■Contents of social contribution:
 ・100 yen will be donated from the card issuance fee you paid.
 ・Half of your accumulated T-Points will be automatically donated every month for a limited time.

*Point deduction period: Until Friday, July 31, 2015

■Donation destination: Through the "Everyone's Playground Project," the donations will be used to fund the construction of an indoor park where people can play with Pokémon in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture.
■Notes:
 ・Customers under the age of 12 are required to submit a parental consent form when applying.
 ・Registering for rental use at TSUTAYA may incur additional fees.
■Limited benefits: We are offering limited benefits only to those who have a ``Pokémon-designed T-Card'' and make a donation by debiting points. Details of the benefits will be announced on the special website.

■What is the "Everyone's Playground Project"?
The "Everyone's Playground Project" is a campaign launched by T-Point Japan immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake, called "Bring a smile to children in the disaster-stricken areas by presenting your T-Card."This project was launched in 2013 as part of the "Support for Children Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake" project, with the aim of expanding support for children affected by the disaster. POKEMON with YOU will work together with T-Point, TSUTAYA, Yahoo! JAPAN, architect Toyo Ito, and project members from Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, to create an indoor park in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, incorporating various Pokémon decorations and a sandbox. It is a space where many children can play freely and energetically.
