-TSUTAYA Ageikageon Fumin store opens on July 12th-

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. will open its ninth TSUTAYA store in Taiwan, TSUTAYA Asia Art Film and Music Fumin Store (Fuming Dian), in Kaohsiung City on July 12th.

TSUTAYA Asia Art Film Fumin Store will be the first store to open in the Kaohsiung area, Taiwan's second largest city. It will be located in Zuoying District, where the Taiwan High Speed Rail's Zuoying Station is located, and is close to the Kaohsiung Arena.

The DVD and Blu-ray rental and sales selection is the largest in Taiwan, with 20,000 titles and 35,000 discs, and we are strengthening our product lineup and sales floor layout to suit the location and customer needs.

In the Asian market, there is a high level of interest and preference for a wide variety of video content, including not only Hollywood films but also Asian films, Japanese films, anime, and Korean dramas. By procuring content based on a strategic partnership with the CMC Group, by stocking products based on database marketing, and by introducing services that utilize the know-how of TSUTAYA in Japan, sales at TSUTAYA Asian Art Films, which has already opened stores in the region, have increased significantly.

We will continue to renovate and open new stores as usual, and also plan to open large-scale complex stores, providing people in Asian markets, including Japan, with a place to encounter even more wonderful video content and books.

The opening of TSUTAYA stores in Taiwan is part of a strategic capital and business alliance for the international entertainment business that CCC and Taiwan's CMC Group (Central China Group) concluded in 2012. Asia Art International Co., Ltd. joined TSUTAYA and opened the TSUTAYA Asia Art Film and Music Public Permission Store in Taipei in December 2012. Since then, the company has expanded to six stores in Taipei and its surrounding areas, two stores in Taichung in central Taiwan, and the newly opened Fumin store, bringing the total to nine stores.

In February of this year, the online home delivery rental service "TSUTAYA 亞藝影音租片網" (http://rental.asia1.com.tw/) service was launched. Utilizing CCC's know-how in Japan, we have renewed the existing online home delivery rental service, 亞藝影音租片網, and expanded our inventory.

As CCC continues to expand its business globally, it will continue to expand its product lineup through database marketing and renew its business model by combining the online and offline worlds, providing a place for new discoveries in the Asian market, in line with its corporate philosophy since its founding.
