"Frozen" rentals surpass 1 million in record time!

- Record-breaking DVD and Blu-ray rental sales at TSUTAYA in just half a month -

As of July 30th, the cumulative number of rentals of "Frozen" at TSUTAYA stores nationwide operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. TSUTAYA Company has exceeded one million. This far surpasses previous titles such as "Avatar" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," which surpassed one million views in about a month, and marks the fastest record since TSUTAYA began offering DVD and Blu-ray rentals.It is expected to become the title with the highest number of rentals by the end of the year.

"Frozen" has been ranked number one in the rental rankings at TSUTAYA stores for two consecutive weeks, and is currently in its third week at the top of the rankings. Rental users are popular with a wide range of age groups, from their 20s to 40s, with the majority in their late 30s. The male to female ratio is 45:55, so although there is a slight female bias, both men and women enjoy the service.
