Culture Convenience Club TSUTAYA Company Ltd. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) will open a new store, TSUTAYA BOOK STORE Morera Gifu, operated by Seibundo Shoten Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture), in Motosu City, Gifu Prefecture on August 6, 2014, as part of its TSUTAYA and Tsutaya Bookstore chain, which has over 1,400 stores nationwide.

The store will be located within Morella Gifu, a commercial complex in Motosu City, Gifu Prefecture, operated by LaSalle Real Estate Investment Advisors Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). As Gifu Prefecture's first book-specializing TSUTAYA store, it will have a Magazine Street at its center, inspired by the lifestyle-focused brick-and-mortar bookstore that has been well-received at Daikanyama T-Site, allowing customers to discover new books. This facility brings together people from the new family generation to the premium generation, and offers a selection of books and stationery to satisfy all three generations. We have also created a space that makes use of the know-how we have gained from opening over 700 bookstores nationwide, with a kids' area where children can play and read books, and a space where adults can sit in chairs placed throughout the store and carefully read and select books.
