We plan and develop unique products that are specialized for lifestyles. We mainly focus on miscellaneous goods and home appliances, discovering rare products that are not often available on the market, and delivering them to customers through our stores such as Tsutaya Bookstore, Tsutaya Electrics, and TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE.
By having our own procurement routes, we are able to quickly provide products that cannot be obtained anywhere else, and by offering unique value such as our own brand (private brand products), exclusive products, advance sales and products limited to our sales channels, we propose a new lifestyle that meets our customers' expectations.
As part of our product development, we also support manufacturers' marketing activities by digging deeper into consumer needs through direct communication with customers at our experiential showroom "Tsutaya Electrics +" and regularly held pop-up events.
Furthermore, we offer sales of our own procured products to a wide range of customers in a multifaceted manner, such as proposing products that fit the worldview of concept-oriented businesses such as hotels, and offering exclusive sales to corporate clients. With the theme of "A Life with Art," we aim to make art a familiar presence, make people's lives happier, and change society for the better. We utilize the knowledge we have accumulated through many years of business experience, including store planning, art media, product development, and event production, to propose plans with an approach that only we can come up with.
Specifically, we disseminate art information through media such as Bijutsu Techo. We also engage in a wide range of other businesses, including proposing highly conceptual spatial designs using artworks and art books, editing and publishing books, and planning and producing art goods. In addition, we operate a museum shop and gallery attached to the museum, as well as an online store called "OIL," providing customers with opportunities to experience art. We also plan art projects in collaboration with companies, and are working to connect art with everyday life.
As part of our store planning, we operate Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore and Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore, which specialize in art. Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore connects art, Japanese culture, and daily life through books, and proposes a "life with art."We display art books collected from around the world, the latest stationery, and contemporary art works, providing customers with a rich reading and art experience. Meanwhile, Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore offers a space where the "traditional and cutting edge" of art and culture resonate throughout all floors. The museum exhibits approximately 60,000 art-related books, traditional crafts, and contemporary art pieces, offering customers a cultural experience unique to Kyoto.

With the theme of "proposing a lifestyle with a car," we provide multifaceted services and solutions that enrich people's car life. We create new value through a wide range of activities, from stimulating interest in cars to car ownership, and even event planning and consulting that utilize cars.

We also offer new experiences centered around car life, such as "KARUIZAWA MOTOR GATHERING," an event that combines outdoor activities with car life, consulting for the "Fuji Motor Sports Museum," and operating stores and cafes. In addition, we provide information on mobility and lifestyle through our lifestyle media "MADURO."This allows us to widely deliver our proposals for a richer life centered around cars.
Furthermore, we are focusing on initiatives to support the EV era leading up to 2030, aiming for a carbon-neutral and sustainable society. We are developing space production centered around EVs, fusing mobility with spatial design to create new experiential value.
