Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as CCC) will hold the grand opening of "TSUTAYA Tenjin Ekimae Fukuoka Building Store" (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) on April 15th (Friday) in the Fukuoka Building, located in the heart of Tenjin, Kyushu's largest commercial area, as a new type of large-scale store.

TSUTAYA Tenjin Ekimae Fukuoka Building Store boasts one of the largest selections of music and movie titles and products in Japan, all located in the Tenjin area, a hub for cultural exchange in Fukuoka. Furthermore, by combining "ecobooks," TSUTAYA's largest used book section, with a new book section, we will offer a wide selection of books, from popular new releases to rare, out-of-print titles. All books can be enjoyed at our BOOK & CAFE, "Café de Crie," while you sip coffee, even before you purchase them.

In addition, we will be stocking all back issues of the local Fukuoka publication "City Information Fukuoka" since its inception, and will also be collaborating with local culture through features such as "Sound, Shop, People Fukuoka," a corner showcasing recommended albums from Fukuoka's music bar owners. Our aim is to create a "cultural archive" of Kyushu and Fukuoka that will resonate with young people in Fukuoka and the baby boomer generation.
