—Earn T-POINTs when you use APLUS's "Shopping Credit"—

Aplus Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Goji Noguchi; hereinafter referred to as "Aplus"), which operates the credit business of the Aplus Group, and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as CCC) have agreed to a new T-POINT service partnership, and will launch "T-POINT Aplus (Shopping) Credit" in May 2011, which will allow customers to earn "T-POINT" when using shopping credit (hereinafter referred to as shopping credit) (*1) provided by Aplus.

Note

1. Purpose of the Partnership
Aplus and CCC formed a business alliance in the credit card field in 1996, and as of the end of March 2011, the number of active members of Aplus's credit-enabled T-CARDs, "TSUTAYA W Card" and "T-CARD Plus (TSUTAYA)," exceeds 5 million.
The two companies have agreed to launch a new initiative in the shopping credit field: "Aplus (Shopping) Credit with T-POINT." This service will allow 37.03 million T members (as of the end of March 2011) to purchase goods in installments without using a credit card, and will also allow them to earn T-POINT. This initiative is a new service in the credit industry. For Aplus, it is expected to attract T-CARD members to Aplus Shopping Credit affiliated stores and encourage them to actively use Aplus services. For CCC, it is expected to enhance customer value by providing T-POINT services to T-CARD members in a new area: shopping credit.
Aplus and CCC will work together to improve T-POINT services and further revitalize the shopping credit sector through "Aplus (Shopping) Credit with T-POINT."
