Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda) will launch "TSUTAYA.com eBOOKs" (http://tsutaya.com/ebooks/), an ebook service for Android devices. We will offer a limited pre-release of the novel "Antoki no Inochi" (Gentosha), which is scheduled to be made into a film starring Masaki Okada and Nana Eikura in their first co-starring role, starting today, August 4 (Thursday), the same day as the paperback release.

"Antoki no Inochi" is a book by Masashi Sada that was published in 2009 and touched the hearts of people of all ages. It is a deeply moving story about a man and a woman who have closed themselves off from the world due to a past incident, but who meet through the job of "estate cleanup" and gradually regain the courage to live as they come into contact with lost lives and the things left behind.

To coincide with the simultaneous release of the paperback and ebook versions of "Antoki no Inochi," TSUTAYA will hold a "Paperback Fair" at all TSUTAYA stores nationwide. Additionally, a special page will be set up on TSUTAYA online, providing information on searching for in-store stock, online shopping, and purchasing ebooks.
