Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.
—We have almost every DVD and Blu-ray title available for rent, including movies, anime, and dramas!—
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC") has launched a "Request and Order Service" at approximately 1,200 of its TSUTAYA stores nationwide. This service allows customers to order from a selection of approximately 150,000 DVD and Blu-ray titles, including movies, dramas, and anime, which surpasses the number of titles available at "SHIBUYA TSUTAYA," which boasts the largest DVD rental inventory in Japan.
The "Request and Order Service" allows customers to request DVDs and Blu-rays that are not in stock at their local TSUTAYA store. The service then retrieves these items from the centrally managed inventory at headquarters and lends them to customers.
To place a request, please select the product using the search terminal located in the store, bring the issued receipt to the counter, or ask a staff member directly and fill out the order form at the counter. The requested items will arrive in our store within a minimum of one week to a maximum of one month. Once they arrive, we will contact you, and you can come to the store to borrow them.
This service will allow you to rent DVDs and Blu-rays of movies, dramas, anime, and more from a wider selection than what is available at large flagship TSUTAYA stores nationwide.
TSUTAYA has been providing customers with the "joy of choosing in-store" while making their experience more convenient and enjoyable. Since last year, we have been offering services such as "TSUTAYA Search," which allows customers to easily search inventory on their smartphones; "TSUTAYA Postal Return," which allows customers to return items rented in-store to a nearby post box; "TSUTAYA LOG," which allows customers to search and share their rental history; and "Return Notification Email," which notifies customers of return deadlines via email. Going forward, TSUTAYA will continue to strengthen its product selection and services to provide customers with the most convenient, enjoyable, and cost-effective service.
