Outsourcing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Haruhiko Doi, hereinafter "Outsourcing"), which operates a production outsourcing business, and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda, hereinafter "CCC"), which operates "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service, have concluded a business alliance agreement regarding the introduction of T-POINT services, and will adopt T-POINT services in Outsourcing's employee benefits program starting January 10, 2012.
As of the end of October 2011, the T-POINT service has grown into a common point service that can be used in a wide range of everyday situations, including TSUTAYA, FamilyMart, ENEOS, Doutor Coffee Shop, Gusto, Camera Kitamura, Yahoo! Shopping, and more. The number of participating companies and stores totals 80 companies and approximately 40,000 stores, and the number of members is 38.59 million, which is about one-third of Japan's total population. Outsourcing will provide employees with welfare services that create even greater "joy in working" by collaborating with a diverse and large number of T-POINT affiliated companies located within the employees' living areas.
As part of this initiative, we will begin offering T-POINT to interview attendees starting January 10th. Going forward, we will encourage continued employment by providing T-POINT to workers employed by outsourcing-related companies, based on their length of service and project duration. Furthermore, we plan to expand various services in the future, such as providing T-POINT to interviewees who have previously worked for outsourcing-related companies, in order to promote re-employment. For workers and interviewees who do not have a T-CARD, we will distribute a T-CARD with an original design created by Outsourcing.
In its medium-term management plan announced on July 28th of this year, Outsourcing has set "raising the living standards of field employees" as one of its key strategies, and will promote this by positioning this business alliance as a "strategic employee benefit." Going forward, we will contribute to further improving production efficiency by focusing on two pillars: "securing a stable workforce" and "nurturing skilled technicians through continuous employment." As a reliable vendor to which companies can entrust many manufacturing processes, we will contribute to the development of manufacturing in Japan and the realization of a bright and prosperous society.
Going forward, CCC will not only focus on manufacturing staffing but also aims to create value in the "work" aspect of lifestyle by enabling the use of T-POINT in employee benefits at various companies in the human resources service industry.
