Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC") will run a joint project with T-POINT Alliance companies, "Show your T-CARD to help children's centers in disaster-stricken areas," from June 28, 2011 to March 31, 2012. We are implementing the following:

This project aims to support the connection between the network of 80 T-POINT alliance companies and approximately 40,000 stores, and the network of 38.59 million T-POINT members, which represents about one-third of Japan's population. It involves constructing children's centers in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake for the children who will shape the future. Following the completion of the "Minamisanriku Town Children's Center" in Minamisanriku, Miyagi Prefecture in September, we are pleased to announce that a second children's center will be constructed through this project on the grounds of Kamaishi Municipal Touni Junior High School in Iwate Prefecture. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the construction site on December 1, 2011, and construction will begin on December 12, with the goal of completion by the end of January next year.

Through this project, CCC aims to ensure that the actions of each T-CARD holder—"presenting your T-CARD and accumulating T-POINT"—will contribute to the revitalization of the Japanese economy, the recovery of areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and provide ongoing support to those affected. CCC and all T-POINT Alliance companies will continue their activities with T-POINT as a point system that connects people to people and people to society.
