Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC") is supporting the connection between its network of approximately 40,000 stores from 80 T-POINT Alliance companies and its network of 38.59 million T-POINT members, representing about one-third of Japan's population. As part of this initiative, from June 28, 2011 to March 31, 2012, the T-POINT Alliance Joint Project, "Show your T-CARD to help support children's centers in disaster-stricken areas," will construct children's centers for children who will shape the future in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. We are implementing the following:

Today, a Christmas party was held at the Minamisanriku Town Community Children's Center in Minamisanriku, Miyagi Prefecture, which was completed in September. The event was attended by 38 first-grade students from Shizugawa Elementary School and Anna Tsuchiya, who supported this project. At the Christmas party, FamilyMart Co., Ltd. presented gifts to the children of Shizugawa Elementary School, including "Famichiki" and "Boku no Oyatsu Peanut Block Chocolate," Doutor Coffee Co., Ltd. presented "Mille Crepe," "Cheburashka Winter Mug," and "Baked Goods Set," TSUTAYA presented "Character Stationery," and T-CARD members who used the product exchange service*1 presented toys and other gifts that can be used at the children's center. Anna Tsuchiya appeared dressed as Santa Claus and sang Christmas songs and played games with the children. The first Christmas party since the construction of the children's center filled the Minamisanriku Town Community Children's Center with the cheerful laughter and smiles of children.

The first children's center built through this project was completed in September of this year on the grounds of Shizugawa Elementary School in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, and construction of the second center will begin on December 19th (Monday) on the grounds of Touni Junior High School in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. The children's center in Kamaishi is scheduled to be completed at the end of January next year.

Through this project, CCC aims to ensure that the actions of each T-CARD holder—"presenting your T-CARD and accumulating T-POINT"—will contribute to the revitalization of the Japanese economy, the recovery of areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and provide ongoing support to those affected. And CCC and all T-POINT Alliance companies will continue their activities with T-POINT as a point system that connects people to people and people to society.

1% of the total T-POINT awarded to T-CARD members who present their T-CARD or apply for points during the eligible period (1), and the total number of T-POINT accumulated during the period by those who registered via the T-SITE during the eligible period (2), will be converted at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen and the entire amount will be used to fund the construction of children's centers in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, through local governments in the affected areas. Children's centers will be built in the affected areas for the children affected by the disaster.

Culture Convenience Club will donate 1% of the total T-POINT awarded to T-CARD members who present their T-CARD or apply for points during the eligible period, converted at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen, to the construction of a children's center.

(2) Make a support declaration entry and provide support
T-CARD members who register their support declaration on the project's special page (http://tsite.jp/tj/) will have all their T-POINT accumulated during the eligible period converted to 1 point = 1 yen, and these will be donated to the construction of the children's center.

■Usage status: In the mornings, the facility is used for childcare support. As part of its community support activities, it will serve as a base for local childcare facilities. Its purpose is to allow infants and toddlers to play and interact with other children, and it serves as a community space not only for children but also for their parents. Additionally, they hold events such as aromatherapy classes about once a month as a fun activity. In the afternoons, the facility is used for after-school childcare. A place where elementary school children play and study after school. Currently, there are 5 registered children, but many unregistered children also visit the center. Furthermore, since the children currently commute by bus, this space can also be used as a place where the children waiting for the bus can wait happily without burdening the teachers.
