TSUTAYA.com Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi) will launch a special Korean drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal Special" on December 21st (Wednesday) as an exclusive pre-launch campaign to commemorate the start of DVD rentals for "Sungkyunkwan Scandal (Theatrical Edition)" on its mobile content distribution site "TSUTAYA Premier," which is available on NTT Docomo's i-mode®, KDDI's EZweb, and Softbank's Y! Menu.

Known as JYJ's Yoochun's debut as a lead actor, this drama is a poignant yet beautiful coming-of-age story set in Sungkyunkwan, the most prestigious educational institution of the Joseon Dynasty based on Confucian teachings, and follows a heroine disguised as a man and the handsome men she encounters. It became a huge hit throughout South Korea as soon as it aired in 2010, and was broadcast in Japan in 2011, where it is also attracting attention as one of the most talked-about dramas of the year.

During the campaign period, you can receive free original images of "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" that vary depending on your "TSUTAYA Premier" subscription plan.
