Growell Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Takada; hereinafter "Growell HD") and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC") are pleased to announce that, based on the business alliance agreement concluded in October 2011, Welcia Kanto Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Welcia Kanto"), which operates the "Welcia" drugstore chain in the Kanto-Koshinetsu region, and Terashima Pharmacy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Terashima Pharmacy"), which operates the "Drug Terashima" drugstore chain mainly in Ibaraki Prefecture, will begin introducing "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service operated by CCC, starting in March 2012.

■Service start date:
Welcia Kanto (all 398 stores): March 13, 2012 (Tue)

*Some stores will begin offering T-POINT services ahead of schedule, starting March 6, 2012 (Tue).
*The following nine stores are participating in the T-POINT service pilot program: Ageo Sakae Store, Ageo Honmachi Store, Ageo Higashi Store, Ageo Benzai Store, Ageo Kashiwaza Store, Ageo Kasuga Store, Plaza Kitamoto Store, Kitamoto Nakamaru Store, and Takasaki Munetaka Store.
(This will only be available at the Takasaki Munetaka store starting March 8, 2012 (Thu).)
Terashima Pharmacy (all 124 stores): Starting sequentially from March 22, 2012 (Thu).

■T-POINT accrual rate: 1 point is awarded for every 105 yen (tax included) spent.
■T-POINT usage rate: 1 point = 1 yen
■T-POINT eligible products: Products sold at "Welcia" and "Drug Terashima"

*Excludes cigarettes, courier services, gift certificates, and some designated area garbage bags.
*Points will be awarded for the patient's co-payment portion of prescription medication, but they cannot be used for payment.
