—Golf club: "TOURSTAGE X-DRIVE GR Driver" and golf ball: "TOURSTAGE V10"—
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC"), which operates "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service, will launch the T-POINT service for Bridgestone Sports Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "BSP")'s golf club "TOURSTAGE X-DRIVE GR Driver" and golf ball "TOURSTAGE V10," both released on March 9, 2012, as the third phase of T-POINT services with BSP. This follows the launch of the golf ball "SUPER NEWING" on September 9, 2011, and the tennis ball "NX1" on January 25, 2012.
The "TOURSTAGE X-DRIVE GR Driver" is a driver with a professional shape designed for powerful ball flight and stability. Furthermore, the "TOURSTAGE V10" golf ball is designed for serious amateur golfers, offering both "long distance" and "high approach spin performance." Customers using a T-CARD can earn T-POINT after purchasing the "TOURSTAGE X-DRIVE GR Driver" golf club and "TOURSTAGE V10" golf balls, by applying through the dedicated website. The T-POINT you accumulate can be used at stores and online services of approximately 43,000 locations across 81 companies nationwide, including TSUTAYA, FamilyMart, and Gusto, with 1 point equaling 1 yen. Even if you don't have a T-CARD, you can still earn T-POINT by registering for a T-ID (free of charge) online, which allows you to use the T-POINT service.
Since 2010, CCC has been hosting the "T-POINT Ladies Golf Tournament," a women's professional golf tour sanctioned by the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association, with the aim of allowing many people to experience the wonderful essence of sports—that is, to move people's hearts—and to increase the number of people who incorporate golf into their lifestyle. This year, the tournament will be held again for three days, from March 16 (Fri) to March 18 (Sun), 2012, at Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club in Kagoshima. In conjunction with the "T-POINT Ladies Golf Tournament," our collaboration with BSP will help increase awareness of the T-POINT service among golfers in their 50s, 60s, and older.
