Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC"), which operates "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service, has been engaged in various support activities with the hope of the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the lives of those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. One year has passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, and we would like to inform you about the support that T-POINT has undertaken so far, aiming to become "points that benefit people and connect people with each other and with society," as well as the support that we have decided to continue undertaking in the future.
[Support efforts undertaken so far: T-POINT donations]
T-POINT donations are a system that allows customers to make donations using their T-POINT. Points received from customers will be converted at a rate of "1 point = 1 yen" and donated. T-POINT donations began accepting donations for the Great East Japan Earthquake (Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake) the day after the earthquake struck, and during the approximately seven and a half months of donation acceptance, a total of 372,834 donations totaling 169,406,643 points were received from customers using T-CARD. The T-POINT we received were converted at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen, and the entire amount was donated in four installments to the relief fund collection points set up by Miyagi, Iwate, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Chiba prefectures.

Miyagi Prefecture: 45,468,881 yen (30 million yen for the first round, 11 million yen for the second round, 3.3 million yen for the third round, and 1,468,881 yen for the fourth round)
Iwate Prefecture: 45,468,881 yen (30 million yen in the first round, 11 million yen in the second round, 3.3 million yen in the third round, and 1,468,881 yen for the fourth round)
Fukushima Prefecture: 45,468,881 yen (30 million yen in the first round, 11 million yen in the second round, 3.3 million yen in the third round, and 1,468,881 yen for the fourth round)
Ibaraki Prefecture: 11 million yen (11 million yen for the second round)
Tochigi Prefecture: 11 million yen (11 million yen for the second round)

[Support initiatives undertaken so far: "Show your T-CARD to build a children's center in disaster-stricken areas" project]
CCC and 80 T-POINT Alliance companies are connecting the T-POINT Alliance network with the network of 38.65 million customers who use T-CARD daily, aiming to ensure that each customer's action of "presenting their T-CARD and accumulating T-POINT" contributes to the recovery of the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and provides ongoing support to those affected. Starting June 28, 2011, they launched the "Show your T-CARD to build a children's center in disaster-stricken areas" project, which aims to construct children's centers in disaster-stricken areas for the children who will shape the future. Thanks to the cooperation of many customers, CCC contributed 1% of the total number of T-POINT awarded during the period, converted at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen, which enabled the construction of two children's centers: "Minamisanriku Town Everyone's Children's Center" in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture in September 2011, and "Kamaishi City Everyone's Touni Children's Center" in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture in January 2012. Furthermore, 5,602 customers participated in the project, and a total of 2,988,965 T-POINT were donated (as of February 29, 2012). Currently, these T-POINT are planned to be used to support the provision of additional equipment and facilities for two children's centers.
These two children's centers are currently used not only as playgrounds for children, but also as community spaces for parents and local residents. We hope that this place will continue to be a hub for sharing children's smiles and energy, and a community space where local residents can gather, laugh, and chat.

For customers using T-CARD, 1% of the total T-POINT awarded during the eligible period by presenting their T-CARD or applying for points (1), and the total number of T-POINT accumulated during the period by those who registered via the T-SITE during the eligible period (2), will be converted at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen and the entire amount will be used to fund the construction of children's centers in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, so that children's centers can be built in the disaster-stricken areas for the children affected by the disaster.

CCC will donate 1% of the total T-POINT awarded to customers who present their T-CARD or apply for points during the eligible period, converted at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen, to the construction of a children's center.

Customers who register their support declaration on the project's special page (http://tsite.jp/tj/) will have all of their accumulated T-POINT during the eligible period converted to 1 point = 1 yen, and these will be donated to the construction of the children's center.

The product exchange service allows you to exchange your accumulated T-POINT for your favorite products or enter a lottery. Since November 30, 2011, we have been running a program where customers can exchange their accumulated T-POINT for toys and donate them to "Minamisanriku Town Everyone's Children's Center" and "Kamaishi City Everyone's Touni Children's Center". To date, we have received a total of 925 donations. As the first phase, we donated a total of 537 toys that had been exchanged by January 23, 2012, to the "Minamisanriku Town Everyone's Children's Center." As the second phase of this initiative, we plan to deliver the toys that were exchanged after January 24, 2012, to the "Kamaishi City Everyone's Touni Children's Center."

CCC's initiative is to "provide children's centers to disaster-stricken areas by showing your T-CARD." Through the two children's centers built through the "Project," we have come to realize that "children's smiles have the power to energize adults," and we plan to continue supporting the two children's centers built in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture and Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, by holding events that will bring joy to children and local residents and deepen interactions, thereby revitalizing the children's centers. In implementing the event, we will utilize the product exchange service to receive support from T-CARD users, and with additional support from CCC, we will work on holding several events as a matching gift.
Furthermore, having witnessed firsthand the urgent need for a "community space" where residents of the area, scattered by the earthquake while living in unfamiliar temporary housing, can gather together and enjoy festivities as they did before the disaster, we plan to create a "space" where children can play and which will also contribute to supporting the local community.
Going forward, CCC will continue to support the T-POINT Alliance network and the network of 38.65 million customers who use T-CARD on a daily basis, with the aim of making T-POINT "points that benefit people and connect people to people and society."
