Dolby and TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI have collaborated to launch a service that allows users to experience Dolby Advanced Audio, which enables high-quality viewing of DVDs and Blu-rays, on the latest Toshiba dynabook laptops, starting Monday, March 12th.

Dolby Laboratories' (hereinafter "Dolby") Japanese subsidiary, Dolby Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayuki Urushiyama) and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. have launched a service on March 12 (Mon), at the cafe space on the second floor of "TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI" in Roppongi Hills, where customers can experience Dolby Advanced Audio, which allows them to enjoy DVDs and Blu-rays in high quality, using Toshiba's dynabook 2012 spring model notebook PCs. When using the cafe space, you can borrow a dynabook with Dolby Advanced Audio and headphones free of charge*, allowing you to enjoy immersive surround sound viewing right there.

Loanable viewing equipment: One Toshiba notebook PC (one of the following: Glasses-Free 3D AV Notebook PC dynabook Qosmio T851, High Standard AV Notebook PC T751, Standard AV Notebook PC T551, Standard Notebook PC dynabook T451) and one pair of headphones.

*Rental equipment is only available for use on the 2nd floor of TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI. Takeout is not available.
