Press Releases
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CCC") launched "T-POINT," a common point service that allows users to accumulate and use the same points across various industries, in October 2003. And "T-POINT," which has grown while being closely intertwined with the lives of people in each region across Japan, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in October 2012. CCC aims for "T-POINT" to continue to be a catalyst for proposing new lifestyles and a service that resonates with many people in society while staying relevant to the times. To achieve this, the T logo, which is the identity of T-POINT, will retain its design that evokes "simplicity" and "strength," but the typeface of "T-POINT" will be changed to a logo that adds a new impression of "gentleness" and "warmth."

■T-POINT Brand Concept
T-POINT brand declaration.
T-POINT is Japan's largest common point program, usable at approximately 44,000 stores across 83 companies.
The number of T-CARD members, who use their cards daily, has reached 38.71 million, making it a nationally recognized point system.
T-POINT, together with our alliance partners, will enhance its value. Not only for T-POINT members,
we want to create points that will please people all over the world.
--------How will we make them happy?
Up until now, T-POINT has been used as "points for personal use" (points used for discounts on purchases, where 1 point = 1 yen). However,
from now on, it will also be a "point of connection for the benefit of people, and between people and society."
T-POINT is a point service that everyone can earn and use at various stores near them.
■Date of change
The changes will be implemented gradually starting March 20, 2012 (Tue).
Going forward, CCC will continue to work with the 38.71 million people who use a T-CARD every day and the 83 companies in the T-POINT Alliance to ensure that T-POINT becomes "points that benefit people and connect people to people and society."
