Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC"), which operates Japan's largest common point service "T-POINT" *1, has partnered with Monex Securities Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Oki Matsumoto; hereinafter "Monex Securities"), an online-only securities company, to enable customers to exchange Monex Points issued by Monex Securities for T-POINT starting March 21, 2012.
Since last year, CCC has been expanding its T-POINT service in a new area called "life planning," which is important for living life in one's own way, by partnering with financial institutions such as Suruga Bank, credit card and consumer finance companies APLUS and Zen-Nichi Shinpan, and life insurance company Holos Planning. This T-POINT exchange service at Monex Securities is the first of its kind in the securities industry, and through this service, CCC will propose a new lifestyle through T-POINT to customers who use Monex Securities.
Overview of T-POINT services at Monex Securities
■Service launch date: March 21, 2012 (Wed)
■Point exchange rate: 1 Monex Point → 5 T-POINT
*Minimum 10 points, in increments of 1 point.
*T-POINT cannot be exchanged for Monex Points.
■How to redeem points: Points can be redeemed after logging into your general securities trading account on the Monex Securities website.
*To redeem points, you will need to obtain a T-ID (registration is free) to use the T-POINT service online.

■Monex Points: This is a system where customers who trade investment trusts and other services at Monex Securities automatically accumulate "points" in their account, and these "points" can be used for discounts on stock trading fees, access to paid investment information, and more. Points can be used to pay stock trading fees or exchanged for points from other companies.

*1 The common point service "T-POINT" was launched in October 2003 and has grown into a point service with 38.71 million members as of the end of February 2012, representing one in three people in Japan (active members who have used a T-CARD in the past year, and unique members who hold multiple cards are counted as one person). The number of companies participating in "T-POINT" amounts to 83 companies and approximately 44,000 stores, and it can be used in a wide range of fields closely related to daily life, such as TSUTAYA, FamilyMart, ENEOS, Gusto, Doutor Coffee Shop, Kitamura Camera, Autobacs, Alpen, and Yahoo! Shopping.
