—Earn T-POINT when you use Edy on your Android smartphone!—

BitWallet Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshihisa Yamada; hereinafter "BitWallet"), which operates the electronic money service "Edy," and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC"), which operates Japan's largest common point service "T-POINT," will launch "Edy for T-POINT" on March 26, 2012 (Mon), which will allow users to earn T-POINT when shopping with Edy on an Android™ smartphone.

Customers using Android™ smartphones equipped with "Osaifu-Keitai®" can select the "Edy T-POINT app" from the T-SITE, register their T-member number and password, and then use Edy when paying at Edy participating stores to earn 1 T-POINT for every 200 yen (including tax) spent. Additionally, at T-POINT Alliance stores such as FamilyMart and Gusto, where Edy payment is accepted, you can earn double T-POINT by presenting your T-CARD and paying with Edy. Accumulated T-POINT can be used at TSUTAYA, Kitamura Camera, Doutor Coffee Shop, and other locations, with 1 point equaling 1 yen.

BitWallet and CCC began offering services for feature phones in October 2008. This service allows you to earn 1 T-POINT for every 200 yen (including tax) spent when using Edy payments with a feature phone equipped with "Osaifu-Keitai®" at over 292,000 Edy-affiliated stores nationwide, including supermarkets and convenience stores. It is currently being used by many customers. Meanwhile, as the mobile phone market has shifted from feature phones to smartphones, a survey conducted by CCC in August 2011 among its members revealed that 23.3% of T-CARD users were using smartphones.
This service was created in response to numerous customer requests to "be able to earn T-POINT even when making Edy payments with a smartphone," and also due to the rapidly growing demand for smartphones.

BitWallet and CCC will continue to provide highly convenient services to even more customers through "Edy with T-POINT," which combines "Edy," a convenient and easy-to-use electronic money service, with "T-POINT," a common point service that makes everyday life more affordable and convenient.

■How to set it up:
(1) From an Android™ smartphone equipped with "Osaifu-Keitai®", access T-SITE (Access http://tsite.jp/).
(2) Select the "Edy T-POINT app," enter your T membership number and T password, and register your ID.

*You will need to obtain a T-ID (free registration) in advance, which allows you to use the T-POINT service online.

(3) When you make a purchase at an Edy-affiliated store and pay with Edy using your registered smartphone, you will earn T-POINT.
