Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC"), operator of Japan's largest shared points service "T-POINT," launched the T-POINT Alliance Corporate Joint Project "Present Your T-CARD to Build a Children's Center in the Disaster-Affected Area" last year as part of an effort to build children's centers in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake for the children who will be the leaders of the future, building two children's centers in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, and Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. As part of its ongoing support for the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, CCC will implement a project called "Bring Smiles to the Faces of Children in Disaster-Stricken Areas by Presenting Your T-CARD" (hereinafter referred to as "this project"), which supports children and community spaces in the affected areas.

In this project, donations from T members and matching T-POINT funds from CCC will be jointly provided to "Let's Hold an Event at a Children's Center" until March 31, 2013, to revitalize the two children's centers built in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, and Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, as community spaces, and to support the holding of events that will please children and local residents.
In the "Let's hold an event at a children's center" initiative, T members can donate the T-POINT they have accumulated to cover the costs of holding an event at a children's center. CCC will match the points donated by customers and make a joint donation to support events at children's centers. As the first step in this initiative, we will be accepting donations until June 30, 2012, to cover the costs of the "Minna no Natsu Matsuri" (Everyone's Summer Festival) to be held at Minamisanriku Town Children's Center (scheduled for late July to early August). "Let's hold an event at a children's center" is scheduled to support events held at children's centers on multiple occasions until March 31, 2013. Following the current "Everyone's Summer Festival" being held at Minamisanriku Town Children's Center, we are planning to support the holding of a second event.

CCC will continue to strive to be "a point for people, connecting people and society," and will continue to provide support by connecting the T-POINT Alliance network with the network of 39.07 million customers who use T-CARD every day.
