TSUTAYA.com Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA.com, President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi, Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which operates the high-definition video-on-demand (VOD) service "TSUTAYA TV," will begin providing its service to customers of K-Opticom Corporation's (hereinafter referred to as K-Opticom, President and CEO: Takao Fujino, Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka) fiber optic internet connection service "eo Hikari Net" new service "eo Smart Link" from June 1st, 2012 (Friday).

K-Opticom's new service, "eo Smart Link," is a lifestyle-enhancing service that connects "devices," "services," "information," and "customers" in a "smart" way, based on the open service common platform, "eo Smart Link Platform," and is a collaboration between K-Opticom and various service providers, including "TSUTAYA TV."
This time, TSUTAYA.com will be offering "TSUTAYA TV for eo" as a service for "eo Smart Link," allowing users to enjoy all of the available titles (approximately 9,000 titles) for Android devices, including new Hollywood releases and TSUTAYA exclusive titles. There are no registration or basic fees, and you will only be charged for the amount you use, starting from 100 yen (tax included) per title. This convenient service allows you to pay together with your "eo Hikari" usage fees.

TSUTAYA.com offers a variety of services, including the video streaming service "TSUTAYA TV," the online home delivery rental service "TSUTAYA DISCAS," and the e-book service "TSUTAYA.com eBOOKs." Moving forward, we will continue to expand our services to "deliver all kinds of entertainment content to anyone, anywhere, anytime, via the internet in the most convenient way possible."
