CA Sales Staff Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akira Tashiro; hereinafter "CASS"), which provides human resource services to the apparel industry, and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC"), which operates "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service, have entered into a business alliance agreement and will introduce the T-POINT program into the welfare benefits system for CASS staff.
■ Background and purpose of the business alliance
With the initial wave of consumer spending slump caused by the Lehman Shock and the Great East Japan Earthquake subsiding, and with consumer needs for fashion becoming increasingly diverse year by year, the apparel industry is facing a chronic shortage of personnel with high sales skills. Under these circumstances, CASS has decided to introduce the T-POINT program into its employee benefits system as part of its strategic human resource management, with the aim of securing excellent talent, further improving the motivation of existing staff, and increasing employment rates. Meanwhile, last year, CCC provided the T-POINT program to two companies in the temporary staffing industry as part of their employee benefits programs, and in April of this year, it launched "T-Benefit," an outsourcing service that utilizes T-POINT for employee benefits. Leveraging the convenience of T-POINT, which can be used in various industries nationwide, CCC aims to provide services to a wide range of companies as the most accessible employee benefit system that accommodates the diverse lifestyles of employees. This has led to the business partnership agreement with CASS.
■ Details of the business partnership
CASS will provide T-POINT to existing staff members based on their length of service, and will also provide T-POINT to applicants who come to CASS for an interview. For staff and applicants who do not have a T-CARD, we will provide a CASS original T-CARD.
■ Future Schedule
October 1, 2012: Started offering T-POINT to job interview applicants.
Early 2013: Started providing T-POINT to existing staff based on their length of service, etc.
