TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will begin renting "PAN AM" at all TSUTAYA stores nationwide starting today, September 19th (Wednesday), as its first private label (original production) overseas (US) television drama.

TSUTAYA, which rents over 740 million DVDs and other video software annually, is working to enhance its lineup with private-label titles in order to strengthen its selection of works that customers want to watch. "You're Beautiful" (April 2010) Starting with the release of original products based on Korean television dramas, TSUTAYA is also procuring private label titles for foreign films such as "Kick-Ass" and "My Week with Marilyn," aiming to create a rich and unique lineup of titles in its stores.

This time, following Korean dramas and Western films in our lineup, we are releasing "PAN AM," our first private label production in the US, an aviation drama that blends glamour and suspense, set against the backdrop of "Pan Am," the world's largest airline in the 1960s, with a scale comparable to "Hollywood films."

TSUTAYA will continue to strive to meet customer demands by procuring private-label products and other items.
