T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "TPJ"), which operates "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service, collaborated with T-POINT partner companies last year to build children's centers in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake for the children who will shape the future. We carried out the "[Project Name]" and constructed children's centers in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture and Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. From April 2, 2012, as part of continued support for the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, the campaign "Show your T-CARD to bring smiles to children in the disaster-stricken areas" was launched to support children and community spaces in the affected regions. We are working on the "[Project Name]" project.
As part of this project, since July 18, 2012, TPJ and the internationally renowned architect Toyo Ito have been working on "Let's Create a Playground for Children," constructing a facility that will serve as a "place" where children can play with smiles on their faces, a "place" where local communities, which have become weaker, can be found, a "place" that was lost due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The construction site has been decided as Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture. The facility will be designed by Toyo Ito, and the construction costs will be covered by "T-POINT donations" from T-CARD members. We will build "Children's House for Everyone."

On November 7, 2012, a groundbreaking ceremony for "Kodomo no Minna no Ie" (Children's House for Everyone) was held on the site of the temporary housing complex "Green Town Yamoto" in Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, and construction has now officially begun. Moving forward, we will proceed with the construction of "Children's House for Everyone" in collaboration with local residents, with completion scheduled for January 2013.

TPJ will continue to strive to be "a point system for everyone, connecting people and society," by providing ongoing support that connects the network of 88 T-POINT alliance companies with the network of 42.29 million customers who use T-CARD every day.
