TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will be selling over 1,500 titles for 1,500 yen each at approximately 800 DVD retailers (TSUTAYA RECORDS) across Japan from December 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013.

In the summer of 2012, TSUTAYA RECORDS offered Blu-rays for 1,500 yen each, exclusively for women, in order to give them an opportunity to experience the advantages of Blu-ray, as women were the least represented buyers at the time. This time, we've significantly increased the number of titles included from 67 this summer to over 1,500, and we'll be selling them to everyone, male or female, for 1,500 yen each.

The titles we have in stock include this year's hottest releases such as "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol Blu-ray + DVD Set," "Fast Five," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," and "Burlesque." Furthermore, we offer classic titles such as "Avatar," "Jurassic Park," "Back to the Future," and "How to Train Your Dragon" so that you can enjoy the unique quality of Blu-ray with family and friends.

In particular, films such as "The Bridge on the River Kwai," "Stand by Me," "Forrest Gump," and "Ben-Hur: 50th Anniversary Remastered Edition," which have finally been released on Blu-ray, are works that you should definitely have in your collection on Blu-ray.
