Medical Resource Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Mitsuhara; hereinafter "Medical Resource"), a comprehensive medical human resources service company of the Nippon Chozai Group, and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "TPJ"), which operates "T-POINT," Japan's largest common point service, have concluded a T-POINT program agreement and will introduce the T-POINT program into the job placement support services and employee benefits for pharmacists registered with Medical Resource.

Background and Objectives of Implementation

With the spread of the separation of prescribing and dispensing of medicines, and the increasing need for home healthcare due to the declining birthrate and aging population, the demand for pharmacists in the medical industry is increasing year by year. In this environment, Medical Resource, which holds the top market share in pharmacist staffing services, has decided to introduce the T-POINT program into its job placement service with the aim of securing pharmacists by differentiating its services from those of other companies. At the same time, we aim to improve employee motivation, employment rates, and retention rates by introducing the highly convenient T-POINT system, which can be used at approximately 49,000 stores across 91 T-POINT partner companies nationwide, for both registered and dispatched staff. Meanwhile, TPJ aims to create new value for T-POINTs in the context of "work," an important element of lifestyle, by encouraging many companies to utilize T-POINTs as part of their employee benefits programs.

Medical Resource will be offering 500 T-POINTs to anyone who visits our pharmacist-specific staffing and career counseling services starting December 17, 2012. For those employed as temporary staff through Medical Resource, we will provide 5,000 T-POINTs as a welfare benefit for every six months of employment. We also offer various other services where you can earn T-POINTs. For staff and applicants who do not have a T-CARD, we will provide them with an original Medical Resource T-CARD.
