—Starting December 15, 2012 (Saturday)—

TSUTAYA.com Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi), which operates the online DVD/CD rental service "TSUTAYA DISCAS" ( http://www.discas.net/ ), has launched a joint campaign (campaign period: December 15, 2012 to January 31, 2013) with NTT East Corporation (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayuki Yamamura; hereinafter referred to as "NTT East"), which provides the internet connection service "FLET'S Hikari."

This campaign offers TSUTAYA DISCAS members who sign up for a new FLET'S Hikari internet connection with the "Omoikkiri Discount" in eligible NTT East Japan areas a 3-month free trial of "DISCAS Flat Rate Rental 8" (1,958 yen/month), which allows users to rent up to 8 DVDs/Blu-rays/CDs per month, and unlimited rentals of older DVDs/Blu-rays from the 9th item onwards.

Additionally, for customers with a Wi-Fi environment at home, a stick-type device will be provided that allows users to enjoy "TSUTAYA TV," a video streaming service that can be watched anytime simply by plugging it into a TV's HDMI port. TSUTAYA.com will continue to provide online video services with a selection of titles and features that will please our customers, such as "TSUTAYA TV," which allows users to enjoy up to 20 HD Hollywood movies and popular overseas TV dramas on multiple screens for 980 yen per month, and "TSUTAYA DISCAS," an online home delivery rental service with the No. 1 selection of older titles that allows unlimited rentals.
