—T-POINT can now be used at "TSUTAYA.com × eBook rental service Renta!"—

TSUTAYA.com Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi) has partnered with Papyless Co., Ltd. (Location: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yasuko Matsui) as of December 18, 2012 (Tuesday). This means that you can now use the e-book sales site "Renta!", which rents out e-books, from the comprehensive entertainment service site TSUTAYA.com. TSUTAYA.com users will now be able to pay for purchases made through the "Renta!" e-book rental service using the credit card registered with their T-ID. This means that when you purchase ebooks through "TSUTAYA.com x Renta!", you can also earn T-POINT.

"Renta!", operated by Papyless Co., Ltd., is an electronic book rental service that allows anyone to easily access approximately 38,000 titles (as of December 2012), including comics, novels, and practical books, for 48 hours or indefinitely. One of the key features of "Renta!", the e-book rental service, is its "cloud-based content distribution model," which allows you to view purchased e-books anytime, anywhere, on any device. This allows us to provide an e-book service that can flexibly accommodate the use of multiple devices such as PCs, tablets, and smartphones, as well as device replacements.

In addition, to commemorate this partnership, we will be running a campaign until January 7, 2013, where new registered users will receive one free ticket.
