Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. TSUTAYA Company (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will begin offering its "TSUTAYA Mobile Membership Card" service, which was launched last November at some stores that have introduced self-checkout registers, to iPhone users starting today, February 4th, in addition to existing smartphones and mobile phones compatible with mobile payment*1*2.

The "TSUTAYA Mobile Membership Card" is a service that allows you to use your existing T-CARD as your membership card, but a valid T-CARD is required to use it. To use this service, you must register your membership card on the website common to both iPhones and Android devices that support mobile payment (http://tsite.jp/tmc/).

After registration, if you have a mobile payment-compatible device, you can use it as a "tap-to-use membership card" *3 by holding your mobile phone over the electronic money reader at the self-checkout. Additionally, when using an iPhone, please obtain your membership card (barcode) from the T-SITE mobile membership card page at the time of use, and then hold the screen over the barcode reader at the self-checkout register to use the service.

The "TSUTAYA Mobile Membership Card" service will be available at TSUTAYA Umeda Doyama Store (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), TSUTAYA Abenobashi Store (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), TSUTAYA Fukuoka Tenjin (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), TSUTAYA Tenjin Ekimae Fukuoka Building Store (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), and TSUTAYA Yutenji Store (Meguro Ward, Tokyo), and will also be available at TSUTAYA Ebisu Garden Place Store (Meguro Ward, Tokyo) and Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) this month. Going forward, we will gradually expand the service nationwide, starting with stores that have already introduced self-checkout systems.
