TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi), which operates the online video distribution service "TSUTAYA TV," will begin providing video distribution services to "SoftBank SmartTV," provided by SoftBank Mobile Corp. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayoshi Son; hereinafter referred to as "SoftBank Mobile"), starting February 21, 2013.

To coincide with the launch of this service, we are running a campaign offering a discount of up to 490 yen per month for one year on the fees for content used on "TSUTAYA TV". All content offered by "TSUTAYA TV," including new Hollywood movies in HD quality, popular overseas TV dramas, Japanese films, and anime, is included, so please enjoy "TSUTAYA TV" on your home TV.

"SoftBank SmartTV" is a service that allows you to enjoy various video content, including "TSUTAYA TV," by plugging a stick-shaped device into the HDMI port of your home TV and operating it using a remote control app installed on your smartphone in a Wi-Fi environment.
The user interface, which synchronizes the TV screen and smartphone, offers a smooth and responsive experience unlike any previous video streaming service, making it a groundbreaking service that allows users to quickly find the titles they want to watch from a vast library of content.

This campaign is only applicable to those who apply by May 31, 2013. Additionally, to use the remote control app for operating "TSUTAYA TV" on "SoftBank SmartTV," please search for "T-Remote" on the "App Store" or "Google Play" and install it.
