—The overseas TV drama 'HOMELAND', which won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series for two consecutive years, is available for free streaming of its first episode until Thursday, March 28th—

(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuo Nakanishi), which operates the online video distribution service "TSUTAYA TV," has decided to offer video sales (service name: Premium EST) and video rentals (service name: Premium VOD) of the overseas TV drama "HOMELAND" starting March 15, 2013 (Friday), ahead of the start of DVD and Blu-ray disc rentals (June 5, 2013). Furthermore, this series marks the first time that "TSUTAYA TV" will offer Premium EST and Premium VOD for overseas TV dramas.

The overseas TV drama "HOMELAND," which we are offering this time through Premium EST and Premium VOD, is a top-notch suspense drama that achieved the highest premiere viewership rating in the past 8 years on the American cable channel "SHOWTIME" and has won the "Best Television Series" award at the Golden Globe Awards for two consecutive years. Premium EST is priced at 630 yen per episode, and Premium VOD is priced at 368 yen per episode (48-hour rental). In addition, to commemorate the launch of our premium VOD service, we will be offering the first episode for free until Thursday, March 28th.
