—Applications for two types of "T-CARD Plus (issued by APLUS)" will begin on March 21st—

APLUS Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoshi Noguchi; hereinafter "APLUS"), a consolidated subsidiary of APLUS Financial Co., Ltd. that operates shopping credit, card, and payment businesses, and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "CCC"), which operates Japan's largest common point service "T-POINT", have partnered to launch the "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS)" credit card, which will be the first card offered and issued by a credit card company to include T-CARD functions such as accumulating "T-POINTs" when presented at T-POINT partner stores, starting March 21, 2013 (Thursday).

The "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS)" will feature the T-POINT service as its card shopping point program, replacing the previous "APLUS Special Points" program. In addition to accumulating T-POINTs based on credit card spending, this card also functions as a T-CARD, allowing you to earn T-POINTs at approximately 52,000 T-POINT partner stores nationwide, including TSUTAYA, FamilyMart, and ENEOS, enabling you to accumulate T-POINTs efficiently.

The cards that will be available for application are "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS W)" and "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS B)". The "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS W)" is a card with shopping and cash advance functions that you can apply for through the APLUS website. (*1) "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS B)" is a shopping-only card that can be applied for at the counter of APLUS Shopping Credit affiliated stores when applying for shopping credit such as APLUS Auto Credit.
These two types of "T-CARD Plus (Issued by APLUS)" will allow us to offer credit-enabled T-CARDs to a wider range of customers, including those who use APLUS services such as "Shopping Credit with T-POINTs," "Auto Credit with T-POINTs," and "Rent Service with T-POINTs."(*2)

The APLUS Group will continue to contribute to creating a richer life for people by providing excellent financial services to customers as a leading consumer finance subsidiary group within the Shinsei Bank Group.
Going forward, CCC will promote the adoption of T-CARDs with credit card functionality and expand the environment in which T-POINTs can be earned through credit card usage.
