Expedia, the world's largest online travel site, operates in 30 countries worldwide. www.expedia.co.jp/AAE Travel Pte. Ltd. (AirAsia Expedia, Head Office: Singapore, CEO: Kathleen Tan, hereinafter referred to as "AAE"), a joint venture between Expedia.Inc. (Head Office: USA), which operates Expedia.co.jp, and AirAsia (Head Office: Malaysia), one of Asia's largest low-cost airlines, and T-POINT Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda, hereinafter referred to as "TPJ"), which operates Japan's largest mutual points service, "T-POINT", have entered into a business partnership and will introduce the T-POINT service on "Expedia.co.jp" operated by AAE from May 21, 2013.

Customers with a T-CARD or T-ID can earn 1 T-POINT for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent on bookings at hotels in approximately 30,000 cities and 200,000 hotels both domestically and internationally on Expedia.co.jp. Starting this summer, T-POINT will also be earned on hotel reservations for domestic and international tours, and a service that allows T-POINT to be used is scheduled to be launched around 2014.

Going forward, AAE and TPJ will implement a CRM program that utilizes the T-POINT customer base of 44.54 million customers, including the provision of benefits based on the amount and number of transactions of each customer, based on the usage record of "Expedia.co.jp" since the launch of the T-POINT service. This will aim to more strategically retain and develop loyal customers, and provide services with higher customer value to customers of both companies.

■Applicable products: Domestic and international hotels available on Expedia.co.jp
■Point award rate: 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
■How to use: After completing your reservation, enter your 16-digit T Membership number and T-POINT will be awarded 35 to 45 days after the final day of your stay.

To commemorate the launch of the T-POINT service, Expedia's mascot, Exbear, will be serving as the bear store manager for one day at TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI (Minato-ku, Tokyo) from 12:00 to 21:00 on Saturday, May 25th (with occasional breaks). If you shop at TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI on the day, you will have the chance to win a 100,000 yen travel coupon that can be used on Expedia, as well as Expedia goods such as a mini Exbear plush toy, or a 1,500 yen coupon that can be used for domestic and international hotel reservations and domestic and international tour reservations on Expedia.

The shared point service "T-POINT" began in October 2003 and has grown to become a points service with 44.54 million active and unique members, which is one in three people in Japan's population.
