Takuto Holdings Co., Ltd. / T Point Japan Co., Ltd.
- T-POINT will be awarded to children for their efforts -
Takuto Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masao Matsuda; hereinafter referred to as "Takuto HD"), which operates private tutoring schools, English conversation schools, preschools, and private childcare facilities, and T-POINT Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "TPJ"), which operates Japan's largest shared points service, "T-POINT," have entered into a T-POINT Program Agreement and will begin the T-POINT service at "Yaruki Switch Group," a comprehensive educational facility operated by Takuto HD, from June 1, 2013.
■ "Earn T-POINT for every clap. "
Takuto HD looks to the future of children and aims to develop motivation and confidence through learning, and to nurture children with the ability to carve out their own paths in life once they enter society. The small successes you gain by working hard towards your dreams and goals will build your confidence and become the driving force to take on the next challenge. Takuto HD and TPJ are promoting the idea of "Earn T-POINT for every clap you make."Under the catchphrase "T-POINT," the campaign supports children by awarding them with T-POINT for their efforts, challenges, and goal achievement. With this new service, points are not awarded based on the amount of purchases, but rather points are accumulated each time students attend the school. T-POINT are also awarded when students improve their scores in areas such as study habits and lifestyle habits in the "Motivation Up System" that assesses their personality, and when they complete designated textbooks. We will further increase children's motivation by awarding T-POINT to children for their efforts and goal achievement, a first in the education industry.
■ 100% of people want to praise their children, but 70% actually don't praise their children.
In preparation for the introduction of this service, Takuto HD conducted a survey of 400 parents about "praising children."The results showed that in response to the question "Do you want to praise your child?" 100% answered "I want to praise them" or "I want to praise them sometimes," while in response to the question "Do you actually praise them?" 69.8% answered "I don't praise them" or "I don't praise them very often."With the introduction of the T-POINT service, points are shared between parents and children in principle, which supports children's efforts and allows the results of their efforts to be displayed on the internet site "T-SITE" (http://tsite.jp) and by making it visible to parents, we hope to create an opportunity for praise.
Takuto HD hopes that accumulating T-POINT will help promote the habit of studying and pave the way for developing genuine academic ability. The company will also position the T-POINT service as a differentiation strategy from other companies and will work to expand its network of classrooms.
TPJ hopes that through the joy of collecting T-POINT, children will learn to work hard every day towards their goals, and that this effort will serve as a catalyst for them to carve out their own paths in life.
