Yahoo Japan Corporation / Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.
- A total of 15 million points back! A series of great campaigns are being rolled out. -
Yahoo! JAPAN, which operates Yahoo! JAPAN, and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (CCC), which operates T-POINT, completed the integration of Yahoo! Points into T-POINT on July 1st. At the same time, we will also begin unifying "T-ID" with "Yahoo! JAPAN ID."
This means that T-POINT can now be earned and used not only at over 58,000 T-POINT affiliated stores nationwide, such as TSUTAYA and FamilyMart, but also at various services on Yahoo! JAPAN, Japan's largest portal site, including Yahoo! Shopping, Yahoo! Travel, and Yahoo! Games, creating Japan's largest shared points service that literally spans both the online and offline worlds.
Additionally, to help resolve the issue of customers finding it inconvenient to have multiple IDs, "T-ID" will be unified into "Yahoo! JAPAN ID," allowing customers to use the T-POINT service on the Internet with just one "Yahoo! JAPAN ID."
To commemorate this integration and unification of points and IDs, the two companies will hold a campaign in which people who link their T-CARD number to their Yahoo! JAPAN ID will be entered into a lottery to win T-POINT, as well as a campaign offering a total of 15 million points back. In addition, Yahoo! JAPAN will take over SHIBUYA TSUTAYA in front of Shibuya Station's scramble crossing for a limited time, bringing the whole of Shibuya into the celebratory unveiling. In addition, on July 16th, the comprehensive entertainment e-commerce service "TSUTAYA Online Shopping" will begin collaborating with "Yahoo! Shopping."
Yahoo! JAPAN and CCC will continue to prioritize providing services that meet customer needs and will work hard to build a shared points service that has overwhelming advantages across the internet and real world.
