-Growing into Japan's largest shared points service, more closely tied to everyday life-

We are pleased to announce that the number of affiliated stores for the shared point service "T-POINT" operated by T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter "TPJ") has exceeded 60,000 as of the end of July 2013, making it the largest number of affiliated stores among shared point services.

T-POINT launched its service in 2003 and has steadily expanded the number of stores through partnerships with major retail, distribution and restaurant chains such as TSUTAYA, ENEOS, FamilyMart and Gusto. The reasons behind the number of partner stores now exceeding 60,000 include the launch of the T-POINT service at small and medium-sized local stores, an initiative that began in 2011, strengthening partnerships with drugstores and supermarkets that are dominant in each region, and the diversification of partner companies.

As of the end of July 2013, there are 5,141 small and medium-sized stores across Japan that have introduced the T-POINT service, including local restaurants, dry cleaners, and beauty salons. Additionally, drugstore chains have expanded to 2,240 stores, including Drug Eleven in Kyushu, Welcia and Drug Terashima in northern Kanto, Drug Yutaka in the Chubu area, and Konko Yakuhin in Okayama, while supermarket chains have expanded to 389 stores, including Yaomasa in Kanagawa, Maruetsu in Kanto, and Red Cabbage and Plasse & Daiwa in Kyushu. In addition, the T-POINT service has begun to be offered in various regions across Japan, including YKK AP's local renovation store "MADO Shop" (801 stores), Hitachi's local home appliance store "Hitachi Chain Store" (372 stores), PGM golf courses (125 locations), and the comprehensive education group "Yaruki Switch Group" (545 classrooms), rapidly expanding the environment in which T-POINT can be earned and used in a variety of lifestyle scenes across a wide range of generations.

TPJ will continue to work with 103 T-POINT partner companies and 60,356 stores to provide a common point service that will further delight the 46.44 million (active unique number) customers who use T-CARD every day, with T-POINT being "everyone's points that connect people and people with society."
