Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.'s Entertainment Division will begin renting the "Japan Original Version" of the film "Ten Thieves," which has been generating buzz for its voice acting by a cast of Japan's leading voice actors, including Koichi Yamadera, Mi Park, Hiroaki Hirata, and Aya Hirano, at TSUTAYA stores nationwide starting tomorrow, August 21st (Wednesday).

"The Thieves" has been a huge hit in Korea, attracting 13 million viewers in just 66 days, and surpassing "Shiri" and "The Host" in just 70 days, breaking the record for the highest audience numbers in the history of Korean films.It has also been described as Asia's greatest trick entertainment blockbuster. A team of 10 thieves plot to steal the one and only diamond in the world, the "Tears of the Sun," but their ambitions and the love of three people derail the plan. The ten unique thieves are voiced by Koichi Yamadera, Mi Park, Hiroaki Hirata, Aya Hirano, Unsho Ishizuka, Mami Koyama, Rikiya Koyama, Kenji Nojima, Yuka Komatsu, and Kazuya Nakai, and the Blu-ray, scheduled for release on September 25th, will also include a limited first run edition of "Ten Thieves [Voice Actors Edition]."

Koichi Yamadera, who voiced the lead role of Macau Park, commented, "It's a crime suspense story mixed with various elements such as action and comedy, so it's full of charm and I think it's a masterpiece of entertainment." Tsutaya's movie buffs have also described the film as "the most interesting film of the year," and in the hopes of getting more people to see it, Tsutaya has decided to implement a "If you don't enjoy it, you'll get all your points back" campaign from August 21st to September 23rd, 2013.

This trick action entertainment film broke audience records for a Korean film and was a huge hit across Asia. The story depicts ten thieves who come together to steal a legendary diamond.
■Story
Popeye (Jung-jae Lee), the boss of a gang of thieves who successfully stole treasure from a Korean art museum, is approached by his former partner, Macau Park (Yoon-seok Kim), with a new plan for a huge casino. The six Korean thieves headed to Hong Kong and were met by four Chinese thieves. In order to obtain the legendary diamond, "Tears of the Sun," the perfect team was supposed to be gathered and a perfect plan was devised. but....
