－Crocs and TSUTAYA collaborate for the first time to promote an "in-home" lifestyle－

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Tokyo headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, has collaborated with casual lifestyle footwear brand Crocs Japan (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Representative and Vice President: Moriya Fujita) to sell Crocs' first-ever room slippers, "Crocs Lodge Slippers," in limited quantities*1 at approximately 300 TSUTAYA stores nationwide from late October 2013.

TSUTAYA, which operates under the concept of being a "place for lifestyle suggestions," offers "new lifestyle suggestions" for all sorts of situations, including "in-home" entertainment such as reading, movies, and listening to music, as well as books, DVDs, travel, cooking, and business. With the release of Crocs' first-ever room slippers, this first collaboration was realized as Crocs' desire to propose a new lifestyle in which people can wear Crocs shoes both indoors and outdoors, and enjoy comfortable and enjoyable everyday lives, resonated with the brand.

The Crocs Lodge Slippers are the world's first room slippers to be released by Crocs. The upper is made of the company's unique Croslite material*2, and the outsole is made of warm felt material and a resin non-slip surface that makes it easy to walk on even on hardwood floors. The upper and outsole are sewn together, and the stitching is visible as part of the design, giving them the gentle and detailed construction that is characteristic of room slippers.

Additionally, the lightness and odor resistance that are the hallmarks of the Croslite material make these room slippers comfortable to wear, even when worn daily.
