Pastel launches T-POINT service from October 1st!

- Earn and use T-POINT at "Smooth Pudding" and Pastel restaurants! -

Chitaka International Foods Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kitanagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Hideo Kado; hereinafter referred to as "Chitaka"), which operates food service businesses such as "Pastel", and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan"), which operates Japan's largest shared points service, "T-POINT", have entered into a T Point Program Agreement and will begin the T-POINT service at 86 "Pastel" stores operated by Chitaka from October 1, 2013.

Customers who have a T-CARD can earn 1 T-POINT for every 100 yen (tax included) spent by presenting their T-CARD when paying at Pastel. These T-POINTs can be used at Pastel and T-POINT partner stores, with 1 point equaling 1 yen. Customers who do not have a T-CARD can apply for one at a Pastel store. With the launch of the T-POINT service, the existing Pastel Point Card service will be discontinued. Points already accumulated can be used until their expiration date.

Chitaka and T Point Japan aim to improve customer satisfaction by providing a more convenient point service to Pastel customers, and will also develop advantageous and convenient measures that will encourage existing T-CARD holders to visit Pastel stores.

■Service start date: Tuesday, October 1, 2013
■ Participating stores: "Pastel" 86 stores
■Applicable products: Products sold at "Pastel" and food and drink
■T-POINT award rate: 1 point for every 100 yen (tax included)
■T Point usage rate: 1 point = 1 yen
