-October 23rd to November 4th DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA BOOKS Full-Store Event-

DAIKANYAMA T-SITE, run by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. and offering "lifestyle suggestions for adults," will be holding a building-wide design-related event entitled "Daikanyama Design Department 2013" from October 23rd to November 4th to commemorate the renovation of its "Architecture and Design Floor" and other areas.

"Daikanyama Design Department 2013" will feature "blue rooms by nendo," where around 30 pieces from nendo, the most talked-about brand in the design world, including new and unreleased products, will be exhibited throughout the building; "Tradition and Me," an exhibition themed on "tradition and the present," featuring participation from popular creators across genres, including Maruwakaya, mame, Ando Momoko, and Kamide Choemon Kiln; and other unique exhibitions, sales, and talk events.

Since opening in 2011, the store has been visited by a large number of creative customers, including designers and architects. With this renewal, we have expanded the sources of inspiration and materials for such professionals, and also stocked books and magazines that can be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in design. Following on from "Daikanyama Design Department 2013," we will be holding a variety of events in the future as a place to propose a lifestyle where people can "learn, think, and enjoy" design.
