"TSUTAYA Movie Fan Awards 2013" where everyone chooses their favorite movie from this year's releases: Interim voting results announced

The Entertainment Business Division of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, will be offering a special website (http://tsutaya.jp/fan/We are pleased to announce the interim results of the "TSUTAYA Movie Fan Awards," for which voting is being accepted online.

The "TSUTAYA Movie Fan Awards" are awarded to the Japanese and foreign films released in Japan this year* that movie fans have found most moving and entertaining, based on votes from movie fans.
As of the interim count, the total number of votes is 17,928, and currently "Ted" is in first place in the foreign film category, while "The Wind Rises" is in first place in the Japanese film category.

■ Campaign period: November 13th, 2013 (Wednesday) at noon to December 26th, 2013 (Wednesday) at 11:59 PM
■How to vote: 1. Access the voting site from your computer, smartphone, or mobile phone.
  ② Please select a work that you found particularly moving, interesting, or would like to praise.
Vote for up to three films from each of the "Foreign Films" and "Japanese Films" categories. You can also vote for only one work.
  ③Click the voting button
■ Eligibility: Anyone who has access to the voting site
■Voting categories: "Japanese Film Category" / "Foreign Film Category"
■ Eligible films: Films released in Japan for 14 days or more between January 1st and December 31st, 2013, with a paid theatrical release date
*The release dates of eligible films are from December 19, 2012 to December 18, 2013.
■Results announcement: Late January 2013
