The Entertainment Business Division of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, has been selected as a participant in the Agency for Cultural Affairs' "Anime Mirai" project to develop young animators. http://animemirai.jp/) will be available for rental at TSUTAYA stores nationwide from Wednesday, January 22nd.

"Anime Mirai" is a project launched in 2010 by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to develop young animators. Every April, original animation projects are submitted by domestic animation production companies, and four companies are selected through a selection process to create short animations while nurturing the animators of the future.

To allow even more people to enjoy films, TSUTAYA will begin renting a total of 12 films that have already been produced and released in theaters according to the following schedule.

A portion of the profits earned from renting "Anime Mirai" titles will be used to support the development of young animators through the Anime Mirai General Incorporated Association.
