- "Video Prepaid Cards" now available at TSUTAYA stores are now compatible with iPhones and iPads -

We are pleased to announce that TSUTAYA TV, a video distribution service operated by T-MEDIA HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Sakurai Toru; hereinafter referred to as "T-MEDIA"), a CCC Group company engaged in the Internet entertainment business, has renewed its service, including the launch of streaming EST (electronic sell-through) and a viewing player app for iPhone and iPad.

With this renewal, in addition to being able to watch on TV, PC (Windows compatible models), Android smartphones, Android tablets, etc., it is now also possible to watch on iPhones and iPads, making the service even more convenient to use. Additionally, while previously it was only possible to purchase works on smartphones (Android smartphones and iPhones) via the Android app, it is now also possible to purchase works from a smartphone browser.

In addition, we have launched a new service called "Streaming EST," which allows you to purchase your favorite titles and watch them as many times as you like without having to save them to your device.
These features will also be available to purchasers of "prepaid video cards" that utilize POSA technology, which went on sale at 1,130 TSUTAYA stores nationwide from December 2nd, meaning that titles purchased on "prepaid video cards" at TSUTAYA stores can now be viewed on iPhones and iPads.
