Following the opening of "TSUTAYA" stores in Taiwan, Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CCC) has launched the online home delivery rental service "TSUTAYA 亞藝影音 租片網" (http://rental.asia1.com.tw/) service will begin on Monday, February 17th.

The expansion of TSUTAYA in Taiwan is part of a strategic capital and business alliance between CCC and Taiwan's CMC Group (Central China Group). Asia Art International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Asia Art) joined TSUTAYA and has been expanding the number of stores since the opening of the "TSUTAYA Asia Art Movies & Videos Civil Rights Store" in Taipei in December 2012.

Now, by utilizing CCC's domestic know-how, A-Yi will be revamping its online home delivery rental service, A-Yi Movie Rental Network, and expanding its inventory, launching "TSUTAYA A-Yi Movie Rental Network" as a new service jointly operated by CCC and A-Yi.

TSUTAYA Asia Art Movie Rental Network will stock approximately 40,000 DVDs and Blu-rays, the largest selection in Taiwan*, ranging from new and recent releases to foreign dramas and products for children, and will also offer a new flat-rate unlimited rental service (starting from NT$399 per month). Additionally, we will be introducing new services that have been well received in Japan, such as a service where you can register the next movie you want to borrow on your "My List" and the next item will be automatically shipped once the previous item is returned, as well as an improved movie review function. Additionally, in line with the Taiwanese market where picking up and sending packages at convenience stores is commonplace, product pick-up and return is now possible at approximately 4,500 convenience stores in Taiwan, including FamilyMart. This service will allow us to expand our services to areas where we do not have stores. (*The largest number of DVDs and Blu-rays in stock at rental stores and other services)

CCC plans to continue opening TSUTAYA stores in Taiwan, and together with the launch of this online rental delivery service, will provide Taiwanese people with a place to discover great films that they have never been able to see before, both in person and online. 　Furthermore, through our content distribution and copyright businesses, we will provide people with more fantastic video content from the film industries of Japan, Taiwan, and China.
