Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CCC) is pleased to announce that the unpredictable and shocking mystery foreign drama "Under the Dome," based on a Stephen King novel, will be available for advance rental at TSUTAYA stores nationwide from April 16, 2014.

"Under the Dome" is a mystery drama based on the original novel by Stephen King, with new episodes added by the staff of "LOST." The story follows a rural town that is suddenly trapped in a giant dome, and the fears of the residents, the mystery of the dome, and the town's secrets are revealed.  

In the US, it recorded the highest audience numbers* for a summer drama in 21 years, and has continued to achieve high ratings ever since. The production of a sequel has already been confirmed, and the original author, Stephen King, has also praised the series, and it is also attracting attention that he will be writing the script for the first episode of Season 2.
