-Developing a fan club and fan site business that serves as a bridge between artists and fans, backed by database marketing based on TSUTAYA members and TSUTAYA stores-
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (head office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as CCC), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide and has the T membership organization, the largest points service in Japan, has entered into a capital alliance with SKIYAKI Inc. (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takuya Miyase), which operates and manages over 300 fan sites and fan clubs for music artists, to make it a subsidiary. The company will launch a fan club and fan site business that utilizes CCC's membership base and the business base of TSUTAYA and other stores.
In the future, SKIYAKI plans to introduce a "T-POINT Service" to its fan club and fan site services, which will allow fans to accumulate and use T-POINT when purchasing artist merchandise, and also plans to issue fan club membership cards with the functionality of a T-CARD. Additionally, through database marketing, we plan merchandise that will be of great value to artist fans, and offer a wide range of services to music fans.
In addition, we provide artist production companies with services such as the development and sale of artist goods to members at TSUTAYA, which has more than 1,400 stores nationwide, and TSUTAYA Online Shopping, as well as support for artist promotion, such as proposing tie-up projects and sales proposals based on marketing data across fan club sites, live performances, and stores, thereby providing a platform with high added value for both artists and fans.
Through this partnership, SKIYAKI and CCC will provide a platform that connects fan clubs, fan sites, live performances, TSUTAYA stores, e-commerce, and more, allowing both fans and artists to enjoy music even more, in an era when the number of people attending live concerts is increasing and ways of enjoying music are diversifying. This will serve as a bridge between artists and fans, and will develop fan club and fan site services that add value to both parties.
